From Sept 29,2025 until March 31, 2026, UnionPay cardholders simply need to scan the campaign sign-up QR code or via this link to sign-up (with UnionPay card numbers starting with 62 or 81). After successful sign-up, during the campaign period, cardholders can enjoy an discount of RM2 with every RM10 spend when making payments by scanning the pink DuitNow QR at any offline DuitNow merchant in Malaysia using the following:

• UnionPay App (雲閃付)

• Designated bank apps that have enabled UnionPay Online Payment services

• Wallet apps that support scanning DuitNow QR codes

Campaign Rules:

• Usage Limit: Each card can enjoy up to 2 discounts per day, 8 discounts per month, and a maximum of 30 discounts during the entire campaign period.

• Participation: Users must scan the campaign sign-up QR code in designated shopping malls, commercial areas, or campus locations to register before participating.

• Eligible Cards: All UnionPay cards (card numbers starting with 62 or 81).

• Ineligible Transactions: Transactions made via UnionPay Online Banking, local switching (on-local), on-us transactions, or third-party platforms (e.g. Alipay, WeChat Pay) are not eligible.

• Quota: Offers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

Currently, the following DuitNow QR issuers do not support cross-border payments:

• RHB Bank

• Shopee Pay

• Grab Pay

1. Campaign Period : From 29 Sept 2025 until 31 March 2026, or while quota lasts. 

2. Participation: Cardholders must first scan the campaign sign-up QR code at designated shopping malls, commercial areas, campus locations or via this sign-up link to complete registration before participating. Upon successful registration, UnionPay cardholders (with card numbers starting with 62 or 81) can, during the campaign period, scan the pink DuitNow QR to make payments at offline DuitNow merchants across Malaysia using the UnionPay App, designated bank apps that have enabled UnionPay Online Payment services, or wallet apps that support scanning DuitNow QR codes.

3. Offer Mechanism: Enjoy RM2 discount with a minimum spend of RM10 per transaction. Each card is limited to 2 discounts per day, 8 discounts per month, and up to 30 discounts throughout the campaign period.

4. The following e-wallets are also supported: Social Pay, BCEL One, TaiFungPay, Wannapay, Bongloy Mobile, Hanpass, NAVER Pay, ShinhanPlay (신한플레이), NH Pay, JDB Yes, Trip.com.

5. Transaction Requirements: All transactions must be made with UnionPay cards starting with 62 or 81 and processed via the UnionPay network to be eligible. Transactions made through third-party platforms (e.g., Alipay, WeChat Pay) are excluded from this campaign.

6. Ineligible Transactions: This campaign excludes transactions at restricted or high-risk merchants, auction merchants; purchases of vouchers, gift cards, stored value cards, prepaid cards, reload cards, coupons (electronic or physical), membership cards, loyalty points, cash vouchers, or any stored-value or value-added goods/services; purchases of tobacco, alcohol, gold bullion for investment, insurance premiums; government services, charity, or social service payments; as well as cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, or ineligible transactions designated by UnionPay International.

7. Usage Limit: Each card can enjoy up to 2 discounts per day, 8 discounts per month, and a maximum of 30 discounts during the entire campaign period.

8. Refund Policy: In the case of refunds or cancellations of transactions that have already enjoyed the discount, only the actual paid amount will be refunded. The discount amount will not be returned, and the redeemed quota will not be reinstated.

9. Amount Display: The receipt amount is the original purchase amount. The discounted payment amount is based on the SMS notification and billing statement issued by the issuing bank.

10. Exchange Rate: For transactions involving currency conversion, the applicable exchange rate will be based on the rate published on the UnionPay International website on the date of the transaction.

11. Disclaimer: Participation in this campaign constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Within the extent permitted by law, UnionPay International and PayNet reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions, or to change or terminate the campaign at any time without prior notice, and shall not be held liable for any consequences arising therefrom. In the event of discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions, the Simplified Chinese version shall prevail. UnionPay International reserves the right of final interpretation of this campaign.

12. Language Version: In case of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of the terms and conditions, the Simplified Chinese version shall prevail.
